Rockwall County Crime Stoppers, Inc. is a state certified program that follows the guidelines set forth by the Texas Crime Stoppers Advisory Council. Since January of 1990, our program has proven its value on numerous occasions. The Crime Stoppers concept has demonstrated just how valuable citizen-law enforcement cooperative efforts can be.
Our tip line (972) 771-8477 is answered 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We also provide the citizens of Rockwall County with the capability of text-a-tip and submitting anonymous tips via the internet. You will be assigned a code number, so anonymity, if desired, is guaranteed. Rewards of up to $1,000.00 are paid for tips which lead to the arrest and/or indictment of individuals who have committed misdemeanor and felony offenses.
Our program is here to serve all 80,000 residents of Rockwall County. Since April of 2012, the tips generated by our program have been instrumental in recovering stolen property valued at over $687,000. These tips have also helped our local law enforcement officers remove over $2,200,000 worth of illegal narcotics from the schools and streets within Your communities.
Rockwall County Crime Stoppers, Inc. is governed by a six (6) person Board of Directors. Board members are dedicated and concerned citizens who act to make your community a safer place to live. The organization is also managed by a law enforcement coordinator. There are also law enforcement representatives from the Rockwall Police Department, Heath Department of Public Safety, and Royse City Police Department who serve the Board of Directors in an advisory capacity.
